Every one who completes the 2024 Kea Community Survey will go into the prize draw. Each person is only eligible to enter once and completing the survey multiple times will make all entries invalid. This promotion is sponsored by Kea New Zealand and supported by our partners at Air New Zealand. By completing the survey, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The promoters are Kea New Zealand. You understand that by entering this promotion you are providing your information to the Promoter. Entrants can direct any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion to the Promoter, not to Air New Zealand. Any questions can be asked via [email protected].
ELIGIBILITY
Entry is open to anyone who, as at the time of entry, is: (a) 18 years of age or older and completes the Kea Community survey via their Kea profile. Please note ‘completing’ the survey means answering all required questions and submitting the survey at the end.
Employees of the Promoter(s) and any agency associated with the Promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are ineligible to enter.
ENTRY
Entry opens 09:00 am on the morning of October 4th 2024 NZST and the closing date will be clearly outlined on the social posts and email correspondence. No entries will be accepted outside of the entry period.

PRIZES AND PRIZE DRAW
Prize consists of:

Flights must be booked by Kea New Zealand, the winner is unable to book their own flights and doing so will void the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to email the details of the flight they wish to redeem to Kea New Zealand along with any other details required for booking. Kea takes no responsibility for incorrect details written by the winner in the confirmation email.
Flights will need to be booked prior to 30 January 2025. Travel will need to be completed prior to 30 December 2025. Travel during NZ school and public holidays may not be permitted. Travel not valid within 8 weeks of booking and flights are subject to flight and booking class availability. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they are eligible for flight travel within current travel requirements to the destination of their choice. The winner will be responsible for all other expenses related to the prize.The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash and is redeemable on Air New Zealand direct services only. Once booking is confirmed no changes are permitted. In the event of any Covid-19 related border closures or events it will be the prize winner's responsibility to cover any additional costs that may incur. Prize travel is not eligible to accrue Airpoints Dollars™, Status Points or frequent flyer points under any other carrier’s loyalty program. Other conditions may apply and will be advised at the time of booking. Neither Air New Zealand nor any other person or party associated with this competition shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered. You are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents and visas and for complying with all country entry/transit requirements. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. The prize includes GST and taxes included in the price of the airline tickets. Unless otherwise stated, the prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, or any other costs of a personal nature. There can be no changes made to travel arrangements once tickets are issued.The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. The prize cannot be transferred to any other person unless agreed to by the Promoter.
The draw will take place at the end of the survey period and the winner will be notified via the email which is associated with their Kea profile. The winner will have 96 hours to accept the prize and Kea will send a follow up email after 24 hours. If the winner has supplied a contact phone number on their profile or survey entry Kea will also attempt to call the winner. If the winner is unable to be reached within 96 hours Kea may, at their discretion, draw another winner. The winner will be chosen at random – all entries will be compiled into a draw generator where one person will win the prize.
PRIVACY
Information collected by Kea both through a Kea profile and the 2024 community survey will be subject to Kea’s general terms and conditions and privacy policy.
GENERAL
The promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or misdirected entries. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind or any traffic congestion on the Internet or any website. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the survey database, not at the time of transmission by the entrant. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoters discretion.
The Prize is the sole responsibility of the Winner. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoters control, the Promoter(s) may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
All decisions of the Promoter (including but not limited to selection of the prize winner) are final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.
Participants must comply with all requirements of the Promoter including requirements specified in the Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid if the entrant:
a) fails to establish their entitlement to enter the Promotion to the Promoters satisfaction;
b) tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion;
c) submits an entry which in the Promoters opinion is not in accordance with these terms and conditions;
d) acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or
e) in the opinion of Promoter(s), engages in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter(s) (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for claims, losses (including loss of opportunity), damages, injuries, costs and/or expenses, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, suffered, sustained or incurred as a result of, or arising in any way out of, or in any way connected with, the Promotion or any prize.
All entrants release and indemnify Instagram and the Promoter(s) from any and all direct or indirect loss or injury suffered by Instagram or the Promoter and arising in connection with the Promotion or the Prize.
If for any reason any aspect of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter(s) reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, at any time without prior notice. Where it is practical for it to do so, the Promoter(s) will notify entrants of such changes on the Instagram post.
