The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and direction of the Versatile business unit in support of the achievement of the strategic, operational and revenue objectives of the wider Spanbild Group. You will be responsible for leading and growing the performance and achievement of the strategic, operational and financial objectives of the Versatile business, by building on the successful and strong market presence of this highly recognisable building company. You will develop a strong customer focused and results oriented business within a mix of company operated branches and an extensive Franchise network across the country.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate successful and effective business leadership skills and commercial acumen, underpinned with strong business planning and financial knowledge. Ideally you will have some affinity with the building sector, be able to quickly assimilate technical information and have an understanding of best practice franchising. You will be adept at problem solving, financial performance and planning, be creative, innovative and well organised. You will build relationships, be influential and be customer focused. You will drive for results and build an effective, high performing team and culture that encourages people to contribute, achieve and develop their talents. Preferably you will have a relevant business degree and significant experience in working as part of a senior leadership team.
