The Opportunity

Deloitte’s Human Capital Consulting practice works closely with business leaders to deliver people projects focused on transformational change, leadership development, culture, and organisation and operating model design.

 

As a Manager in our HR Transformation team (one of the two teams within our Human Capital practice), you will be a key contributor to delivering high quality projects that make an impact for our clients. You will work on a variety of client engagements, coaching and leading analysts and consultants within the team, with the guidance and direction of your peers, Directors and Partners. Our projects range from strategy, through to design and implementation, and we’re looking for someone who is keen to get stuck in whatever the challenge!

 

The broad nature of our client base means that you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a range of industries, topics and client problems, to learn every day, and to develop your core capabilities.

 

Your role will focus on applying your skills and experience from an HR and talent development background in areas such as:

 

  • Compiling and analysing data gathered through workshops, interviews, questionnaires and other methods to find insights and identify pain points in the current employee experience.
  • Using these insights to create talent development and people strategies for our clients – this could be in areas such as HR, workforce, culture, learning and change, to name just a few!
  • Collaborating and partnering with our clients to drive these strategies through to implementation.
  • Work with the broader Human Capital and Consulting teams to bring thought leadership, industry trends and best practice research to all of our deliverables and ensure transformation initiatives are exceed client expectations.
  • Project Management, including managing users and stakeholder expectations, owning change management issues and escalating as required to ensure full user adoption and delivery commitments are met.
  • Connecting with Human Capital team members to share knowledge and build capability throughout the team.

About you

  • 5 years’ experience in an HR/People/Talent Development role. Experience in a Consulting/Professional Services environment is highly advantageous.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Human Resources business processes and practices. This includes experience designing and delivering organisation operating models/organisation design, change management, learning and development strategies and succession planning.
  • Strong quantitative and analysis skills, able to uncover the heart of problems, identify root causes and offer clear solutions in a constructive and logical way.
  • Sound interpersonal skills, able to gain the trust and confidence of those you collaborate with.
  • Fluent (close to native level) of English language skills is essential, both written and spoken, as is the ability to engage a range of people at all organisation levels.
