It provides New Zealand’s infrastructure workforce with clear career pathways and nationally recognised apprenticeships and certificate qualifications through work-based learning. It supports learners and employees in New Zealand’s infrastructure industries:

• Civil Infrastructure
• Electricity Supply & Telecommunications
• 3Waters (drinking water, wastewater and stormwater)

Connexis is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to take responsibility for its internal assessment and moderation framework. You will develop and manage internal moderation, assessment and quality assurance procedures to ensure the framework is robust and meets standard-setting body requirements. You’ll also oversee a high performing assessor network to ensure appropriate capacity to meet industry needs, and you will engage with key industry stakeholders and collaborate across the WBL subsidiary and wider Te Pūkenga network.

The role requires a self-motivated manager with a drive to deliver results and a proactive approach to problem-solving.  You’ll be known for your strong relationship management and communication skills and will have a proven track record of creating a positive team environment in order to facilitate success.

The position reports to the GM Learning Solutions and leads a team of five employees. Your high level of skills and knowledge in assessment and moderation, combined with your familiarity with NZQA, and accreditation processes and industry training, will ensure your success in the role.
