Are you are proven agency Account Manager interested in working within an independently owned Auckland agency? Like the idea of working across APAC clients, in the areas of advertising, brand, and digital marketing? Ever thought of working with healthcare clients?

On behalf of our agency client, The Pond Recruitment is on the search for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Account Manager, keen on a new challenge and can fill a crucial gap in a growing client service team of five. You’ll be a passionate individual with great communication skills and an excellent work ethic.

The successful applicant will need to be strong in all things account management, relationship management, and budget management. You will be motivated by owning and driving various client projects with strong process and external resources needed to complete each key project. Under the direction of the Client Service Lead you will be able to foster trusted and respectful client relationships that encourage loyalty and delight.

You would be responsible for bridging the gap between the agency and two key APAC clients, as you work on a large range of different projects across brand, advertising, and digital marketing. You will be responsible for owning the agency project roadmap, developing plans, timelines, consumer insights, briefs, assisted internal and external resource planning, proactivity and commitment to clients, and ownership of job cost reporting.

The breakdown

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years’ working in an agency
  • Healthcare or Pharmaceutical marketing experience a bonus

Proven results and experience in…

  • Experience forging longstanding, solid relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Running client briefing sessions and process them into creative briefs
  • Assigning projects and workload where appropriate through WIP planning
  • Ownership of client projects, delivering work on time and within budget
  • Strategic input into key existing accounts as well as maintaining and growing these accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised, able to multi-task, and proactive

The reward

  • $90,000-100,0000 per annum + Kiwi Saver
