What you will be doing: Te whakamahere

Joining the Customer Solutions leadership team, you will ensure that NZTE’s digital products deliver to the key business metrics and outcomes and provide quantifiable return on investment. You will engage senior stakeholders and give them confidence in the direction and performance of our Digital Product Strategy. Your goal is to optimise NZTE’s digital channels and knowledge systems so that an outstanding customer and employee experience Ultimately you will lead a team that are engaged, aligned and have a clear understanding of the difference they’re making within New Zealand and internationally.

What you will need to be successful:  Ō Pūkenga

As a seasoned operator in the Digital Product world, you will have a proven track record of bringing products to market at pace, managing significant complexity and budgets, and delivering the desired commercial outcomes. You will be skilled at gaining buy-in and commitment from stakeholders across the business; swaying hearts and minds is like breathing to you so encouraging people to change and adapt is where you thrive. You are comfortable making tough decisions based on trade-offs / prioritisation and can communicate and implement these in a way that is both empathetic, supportive, and builds resilience in your team.

Being passionate about technology, you will be both confident and curious so you can intrinsically understand what is possible and weigh up what is worth investing in. Being fluent in “tech speak” is important too as you will work alongside the Digital team (particularly Developers).
