Position
Managing the full business profile for forestry operations, this role includes timely delivery of silviculture operations, done in a cost effective and efficient manner. It is a highly interactive position with wide internal engagement and leadership of partnerships with contractors and suppliers who are critical to delivery of results. Business operations management comprises typical financial reporting and budgeting, performance evaluation, data management and coordinating research and development projects.
Person
You will have sound commercial and operational strengths with an eye on the future for growth opportunities. With exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative style, you are comfortable influencing internal and external decisionmakers, have a sense of community and enjoy leading cohesive teams that are focused on achieving the company goals. Preferred technical experience is in forest operations alternatively the transferability of skills from an aligned sector is acknowledged, particularly seasonal growth or experience in growing a biological asset. A relevant tertiary qualification is necessary.
