  • Join a close working team that succeeds together
  • Wellington or Auckland based role with flexible working options

Are you curious about what makes the financial system tick? Are you wanting to be part of a team with influence in NZ?

Te tūranga - The role

Working in a highly collaborative team, you will explore and provide insights on major and emerging risks to financial stability. Part of this will be following developments in the financial system and considering any potential vulnerabilities.

There will be opportunities to dive deeper into emerging issues and produce compelling papers for the Governor and other senior leaders. A key output will be producing twice yearly the Financial Stability Report, one of the Reserve Bank's flagship documents.

There are many interesting opportunities where you will get to learn from experts. You will be involved in our stress testing programme, which will focus over the coming years on the impacts of climate change. You may also be involved in assessing and monitoring bank capital models.

In all of this, you will be backed by a positive and supportive team that wants you to thrive.
