Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Auckland-based Rewards Manager/Senior Manager to join our nationally-recognised specialist People Advisory Services team.

In this role, you will lead a variety of technical engagements and projects which address issues around reward and remuneration strategy. This will involve the design and development of short and long-term incentive schemes, the commercial and strategic implications of remuneration systems and processes, the design of executive remuneration structures and advice on packages, review of Directors’ fees and other cash and non-cash reward opportunities.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • You’ll be responsible for proactively developing and managing strong external relationships, liaising with CEOs and Boards, Human Resources Directors and remuneration professionals across a wide variety of organisations and industry sectors. 
  • You have a pivotal role to play in overseeing the quality of every engagement that you manage, making sure we deliver high quality, impactful solutions that exceed client expectations. 

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, human resources or a related field
  • At least 5-7 years experience in a specialist remuneration-related role within a consulting firm or a large organization
  • Alternatively, your background might be a wider HR Generalist remit but within a Consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication demonstrated across a wide variety of formats
  • Strong proficiency on MS systems, especially Excel
