He aha tāu e mahi ana | What you will be doing: 
The primary purpose of this role is to lead, manage and develop a team of Investment Managers, Analysts and Associates focused on attracting Investment into New Zealand, originating Greenfield investment opportunities and building the Investment capability of New Zealand companies in support of them attracting investment.   

The position also plays a critical role in the Investment Leadership Team and is a key connector between the Domestic Investment team and International Investment team.

We want talented people who are flexible, customer centric.  You’ll be an experienced people leader with great coaching and mentoring skills within a financial services environment.  You’ll be experienced in identifying the right skillsets for your team and developing these in your people, as well as the wider teams.

Key skills you'll bring:

  • Proven people leadership experience with the ability to motivate, challenge, and empower individuals and teams
  • A high degree of technical competency in investment or related
  • Strong NZ industry knowledge and strategic capability
  • Comprehensive grasp of New Zealand financial ecosystem and global economy 
  • A strong networker who easily builds and maintains relationships
