Chief Digital Officer

Our client, a leading financial services organisation has experienced significant growth nationally and internationally. Already acknowledged as a leader embedding digital solutions to their clients, this role will be critical in taking this to the next level and continuing a mindset of challenging the status quo.
The Chief Digital Officer (CDO) is a newly created role, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and part of the Executive Leadership team; you will work collaboratively to help develop and achieve business plans and strategic goals.
Responsible for the Digital team, you will manage outsourced business partner relations to ensure the effective development and operation of digital information systems, whilst working closely with the Chief Operating Officer on technology related business requirements, innovation, project management and change management that supports the technology enterprise strategy.
This is a broad role that requires someone to bring the right blend of strategic and operational nous, as you remain close to the outcome of delivering successful, technology-based solutions, including creating a powerful client experience and driving new revenue opportunities. You will bring a level of pragmatism to the role as the you prioritise projects, build a culture of innovation and best practice, and developing a high performing, collaborative team that maintains strategic and successful technology partnerships.

The ideal person will have been a technical expert level knowledge of IT/digital principles, models, and methodologies, with at least 15 plus years’ experience leading an IT/Digital function at senior or executive level. You will need to demonstrate your experience creating and leading a data driven culture and proven technology asset and service procurement experience as you achieve sustainable business partnership and deliver strong digital outcomes.
