About us:
We design and build electric motorcycles here in New Zealand. Our mission is to build the ultimate urban riding machines, bringing craftsmanship and leading innovation to urban two-wheelers that are intuitive and low emission. With 160 bikes delivered across New Zealand and a recent move from Wellington to a brand-new facility in Hamilton, we are ready for scale and international markets.
About the role:
We’re looking for a hands-on marketing expert to build the FTN brand, create demand, generate sales and grow brand advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand building - strategy, identifying partners and unique ways to build the brand story through different channels.
- Growing waitlist customer deposits, ensuring annual pre-sale targets are met.
- Oversee and lead the implementation of day-to-day brand-building and marketing activities.
- Brief and work directly with marketing agencies, responsible for sign-off on all work (digital, PR, branding, design etc).
- Creation and running of events to ensure all company goals (brand building and sales KPIs) are met.
- Oversee FTN customer experience from the waitlist to after-sale and service.
- Drive customer advocacy and reviews.
Skills and experience:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing and brand-focussed roles.
- Experience and strengths in managing and working collaboratively with a small team.
- Experience and strengths in comms and campaign management.
- Highly organised and disciplined with an eye for detail.
- A track record in brand development and executing on the vision.
- Thrives working in a small, fast-moving company environment where you will be responsible for a broad scope of tasks, from high-level strategy to implementation.
- Experience with website development and/or management.
- Experience with physical products.
- Experience in offshore markets.
- Has a design-led mindset and a passion for creating beautiful things.
