Kea is a small, but high impact global team who work to keep offshore Kiwi connected to New Zealand. The Finance Director role manages our global accounts end to end and is therefore integral to the smooth and effective running of the organisation. In addition, this role offers significant financial and compliance leadership support to the CEO and Global Chair, preparing our monthly forecasting and annual audit process.

This role would best suit a well seasoned finance and accounting professional who is looking to coordinate part time (20hrs per week) work alongside other endeavours. While experience with New Zealand tax and audit process is essential, this role is able to be undertaken remotely.

 

A successful applicant would have:

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a small global team
  • Extensive experience using Xero cloud-based software
  • Proven accounting skills and a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Ability to analyse and improve existing systems and processes, a fast learner with the aptitude to pick up and use new software/technology
  • Good working knowledge of New Zealand employment law
