  • High-functioning new team of salaried public policy specialists
  • Outstanding policy thinkers and problem solvers
  • Empathetic, wellbeing focused manager

Make the move into a values-driven, supportive consulting practice that is the ‘go-to’ for Aotearoa’s public service. This organisation has 80 staff nationally and supports public service organisations to tackle the significant issues and challenges facing Aotearoa.
Often working at senior levels of government, you will work collaboratively with high calibre colleagues, or alone, helping to define and develop solutions for some our Aotearoa’s most complex policy problems.  This is not an ordinary consulting environment – it offers the exciting opportunity to broaden your current skill set through diverse assignments in a multi-disciplined environment.
In response to growing demand, this organisation is looking to increase its talented team of public policy professionals. They are seeking people with:

  • Excellent judgement, empathy and professionalism, and proven communication skills.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, and policy experience in the public sector.
  • A solid understanding of the machinery of government and our current policy environment.

Experience in infrastructure (energy, telco, water etc) related policy would be beneficial, although you will be a strong generalist, able to turn your mind to any public policy problem with ease and curiosity.

This new team will comprise Principal, Senior and Analyst (one-two years’ experience) level consultants. You will be able to work flexibly under a manager who is committed to developing staff and provides a supportive environment where you can flourish and thrive while you enjoy making a palpable difference for Aotearoa.

Applications are strongly encouraged from those skilled in Te Reo Māori me ona tikanga and who reflect our nation’s diversity.

Worklife is delighted to offer this opportunity for your consideration. Interest closes on 30 September 2022 at 12pm, however we will be progressing with suitable applications as they are received.
