What you’ll be doing - Te whakamahere
Reporting to the Private Capital Associate Director, this role is a critical part of our investment activation strategy and is primarily responsible for developing and nurturing relationships to enable the successful delivery of the Investor Migrant Programme. The Investor Manager will proactively manage new and existing investor migrants to New Zealand and drive a pipeline of quality investment opportunities for them.
Duties will involve (but not be limited to):
- Maintaining oversight of and relationships with the direct investment and managed fund pipelines
- Identification of the needs of Active Investor Plus visa applicants and connecting them with suitable investment opportunities
- Lead the development of tools and materials to manage investor migrants and develop their understanding of New Zealand and potential opportunities
- Work with the wider team to design and implement programmes that support the investment journeys of investor migrants to New Zealand
- Gather and maintain the integrity of investor migrant and related deal data in NZTE’s CRM
What you’ll need to be successful – Ō Pūkenga
Possessing strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the Investment ecosystem, you will have a keen strategic focus in your approach to working with Investors. Adept at building relationships with Investors and understanding their needs, you’ll effectively match them with Investment Opportunities and Products suitably aligned with and beyond their visa requirements.
Skilled in understanding the key drivers for Investor decision making, you’ll be adept at anticipating Investors’ requirements, connecting them with the right opportunity, at the right time, ensuring the best possible outcome for them and New Zealand.
Key skillsets that will lead to your success are:
- Proven ability to network and influence stakeholders and partners in New Zealand’s commercial environment and globally
- Demonstrated commercial strategic acumen and ability to develop business relationships
- Experience with understanding and fulfilling Investor needs and drivers
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce or Accountancy
