To create a better future, come and join ours.

We are New Zealand's financial markets conduct regulator, the Financial Markets Authority - Te Mana Tātai Hokohoko.

We're embarking on an exciting new future - and it could mean a new start for you. You'll be helping New Zealanders to have confidence that our financial sector provides a strong foundation for their financial future.

As an organisation, we have an expanding remit, embedded in new legislation, focused on making sure that all New Zealanders benefit from a financial services sector that meets their needs and treats them fairly. As a result, we'll be growing and welcoming new team members across the FMA.

This new role has been created to influence and support our expansion and growth. You will be leaning into your significant strategic stakeholder management expertise to inform, influence and build confidence in our efforts and ability to make a real impact. To help us fulfill our role of enhancing participation and efficiency in New Zealand's financial markets, we'll need you to bring extensive experience working with a highly diverse range of stakeholders: domestic, international, private sector, interest groups, consumers, media and government.

So, what's it like to work at the FMA?

It's purposeful. Our mission is to create a fair and transparent financial sector that serves all New Zealanders. We are looking for people with a strong sense of collaboration and fair play.

It's stimulating. We need to be thinkers and initiators. We're looking to grow our teams with people who have a spirit of service, combined with the drive, skills, intellect and forward thinking to stay ahead in this fast-moving sector.

It's supportive. We have a culture that allows everyone to bring their best selves to work. We value people with ambition, open-mindedness, and a strong orientation towards collaborate ways of working.

A great place to work. With great work to do.
